rings in reciprocating compressors (Ph.D thesis on the "Dry Friction, Wear, and Solid Lubrication" activity - Contact Mechanics Laboratory - INSA Lyon)
- defined the investigation strategy,
- in charge of project management,
- materials (filled PTFE, cast iron) analysis and characterization, and collaborated with suppliers,
- selected, implemented and analysed compressor instrumentation and data acquisition,
- defined and kept track of tests on tribometers and compressor, tribological expertise,
- conducted stress and thermal analysis,
- updated technology vigil,
- wrought up reports and conferences.
Result : leading to better understanding of the product performance.
